I know nothing about beekeeping.  I noticed a hive in my pasture, however.  It is not in a tree.  It is just a huge comb covered with bees and hanging from an exterior branch.  Will these bees survive the winter?

Are you in Missouri?   If so they will probally not survive the winter.
