I live in North Central (Macon County) Missouri and have a hollow tree  in my yard that is just full of bees.  I really need to have the tree removed, and would hate to kill the bees, but I fear that the tree will fall on my house if I don't get rid of it soon.  I've had a hard time finding someone to take them, theyre free to good home for anyone who wants and knows how to take them safely. Smile
