Hi From NW MOHello,
This is my 2nd year. I started last year w/ a nuc, then caught some swarms, trapped a few, did a couple cutouts and few combines and ended the year w/ 7-8 weak to med strong hives. Spring came and I had 3 surviving hives. I currently have collected 10 or more swarms this year and and am happy w/ keeping around 10 colonies @ home. I like to collect swarms and do cutouts. Trying to get the girls to build up enough comb and stored honey to keep a little this year.
I work in KC(60 miles away) so have a pretty good swarm collecting area if anyone has one they cant get to drop me a line
