I am new in this area and am not sure what the local prices are for nucs and queens. Would someone please advise? It seems that prices were really high last year and that scared off a lot people - I saw nucs priced over 100$.
The price has been creeping up steadily over the last 10 years from 35$ to 75$ or more. Our prices are outpacing inflation folks!
I will have a few nucs available and will sell Qs all summer. Carniolans or Italians open mated with survivor stock.
Thanks

I've seen nucs priced from $75 to $90 this year, but they don't always specify whether they're four or five frames.
As for the inflation reference, I don't think it really applies given CCD and the demands from almonds. Neither is a great factor in itself for most Missouri beekeepers, but they certainly affect the market.
